Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a safe and effective way to restore normal function and range of motion. Sometimes our bodies need a helping hand to get back to where you want to be, As Osteopaths, we help to relieve pain and help you on the road to health and recovery. We do this through a combination of movement, stretching, deep tissue massage and muscle and joint manipulation. Aftercare advice along with rehabilitation and pain management advice are also part of the treatment process. Sometime, we may suggest that Osteopathy isn't the right solution. If that's the case, we'll let you know and refer you to your GP or another specialist, such as an orthopaedic surgeon. Osteopathy is available on the NHS in the UK however it is not available on the HSE in Ireland, however most insurance providers will provide cover. Please do check with your insurance provider before commencing treatment.
Cranial Osteopathy
Cranial osteopathy is a specialist area of osteopathy that concentrates on helping the subtle and gentle movement of the bones of your skull and sacrum (a bone at the bottom of your spine, between your hips). It is particularly effective for babies, children and the elderly.
Sports Massage - Deep Tissue Massage
Sports Massage is designed to aid the body in relief from stress and tension that builds up in the bodies soft tissues during exercise, helping to both treat and prevent sporting injuries from reoccurring. It is a good preventative tool for niggling injuries, that so often get in the way of sporting performance.
From committed athletes and ardent keep-fitters to once-a-week joggers, you’ll struggle to find any serious athlete who doesn’t regularly include sports massage in their training programme.
